Primary NQT Development Programme 2017/18 details announced

We are very pleased to announce the details of our Primary NQT Development Programme 2017/18, including the return of inspirational speaker Jason Bangbala for the “Releasing Potential” conference on Monday 18 September 2017.

BTSA is an Appropriate Body for NQT Induction. In addition to undertaking verification of NQT induction assessments we are also offering a full range of NQT support services and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) including:

  • A full day NQT conference featuring inspirational speakers and workshops
  • Five half termly training sessions covering area for development that NQTs have identified themselves
  • New NQT Induction Training and Mentor Handbook

Extra support visits can be arranged at an additional charge for NQTs judged not to be making adequate progress against the Teacher Standards.

Cost and booking

The cost for each participant is £675 for the full NQT package.

The full NQT package includes NQT Appropriate Body, Induction for Mentors, the one day conference and five half termly CPD training sessions.

Alternatively,  you can choose to purchase the following elements of the programme separately:

  • NQT Appropriate Body: £240
  • One day conference: £150
  • Induction for mentors: £80
  • Individual half day CPD sessions: £80
