NQT CONFERENCE 2017

We held our annual conference for Newly Qualified Teachers on the 18th September where we opened up The Hub to more than 50 new teachers. Chris Brislen (CEO of St Bart’s Multi-Academy Trust) gave an inspirational keynote on making a difference for every child. The morning session focused on Behaviour with the motivational Jason Bangbala sharing his personal top tips on promoting positive relationships in the classroom. After a very enjoyable lunch the NQT’s attended three workshops looking at the Induction Process, Top Tips from previous NQT’s and a Q and A session with Jason. Feedback was extremely positive and we look forward to welcoming attendees back to the Hub for the five sessions that form our Getting It Right From The Start NQT Programme. These sessions cover Engagement, Assessment, Differentiation, Inclusion and Next Steps. We wish all the NQT’s an enjoyable and successful year.
