Embedding Excellence – a programme to support RQTs
Embedding Excellence is a three session training programme to support primary school teachers in their second to fifth year of teaching.
The course looks at ways to ensure teaching is the most effective it can be whilst providing RQTs with the skills to develop their leadership capabilities. It encourages them to be innovative practitioners using action research to develop and contribute towards policy and practice within their schools.
- Provides participants with opportunities to be reflective about their own practice
- Focuses on the role of the subject leader and leading a specialist subject area
- Encourages them to engage further in the wider life and development of their schools
- Promotes collaboration through the development of a local RQT network
